WAGES REDUCTIONS.
Wellington, December 27. The “Post” reports that, in the course of a few days, the Alliance of Labour will take a ballot for which the papers are printed, but not yet distributed. The paper asks: “Do you favour affiliation organisations ceasing work as a protest against the reduction in wages.” , The papers are returnable to the local secretaries of the unions on January Isth.
