FREE LABOUR CREWS
Wellington, Last Night. The Alinister of Labour, in replying to a pamphlet warning travellers concerning the employment of free labour and the relaxation of the shipping laws, says the requirements under which the Minister has acted are as effective, or even more so, than actual compliance with the regulation. In issuing instructions, lie specifically directed that the safety of passengers and crews was to he fully provided for. and lie was assured Mint full regard had been paid to the special requirements stipulated.
