DIXON CUP CHANGES HANDS. A rink from t-lie Palmerston N. Club, 0. Rowling, A. Pickering, G. H. Trott and W. B. Jolly (s), visited the -Northern Club on Saturday, and was successful in its challenge for the Dixon Cup and Tucker Badges. The challengers had placed 14 points to their credit at the 7th head before the holders, E. P. Stuart, P. J. Wilson, G. Rumble and G. Bailey (s), opened their account. A four on the 14th and 15th heads brought the .score to 21 —13 against them, but thereafter the visitors did all the scoring, the game ending Palmerston North 30, Northern 14. Pahiatua is the next in line a'nd will meet the holders to-morrow.

MAN SON AND BARR CUP. The holders of the Manson and Barr Cup, a Palmerston North Club rink, .successfully defended the trophy against a Peilding rink, the final score being 27 to 11. AINSLEY SHIELD. Two rinks from the Manawatu Club played for the Ainsley Shield against, two Palmerston North teams. The aggregate was in favour of the holders by the narrow margin of one point, totals being Palmerston North 37, Manawatu 36,
