ROYAL PICTURES.
“Scrambled Wives,” starring Marguerite Clark, heads the bill at the °Royal Theatre to-night. The picture is adapted from the play of the same name which had a phenominal success in New York. The picture is well produced and the supporting cast is a good one. The scenes of the picture include a fashionable girls’ boarding school, the elopement and a funny episode in the house of a negro minister, ah ocean voyage, the streets of New York and the beautiful ballroom and the swimming pool of a countrx house. Also a Snooky comedy entitled “Ladies' Pets,” and extra: “With Stanley in Africa.” Prices as usual. On Monday night “Laddie will be screened. Everybody has read Jene Stratton-Porter’s book, “Laddie” and now everyone should see the pieturised version of it. The sincerity displayed by the whole cast lends a realistic atmosphere seldom to be found in pictures ot this description.
