FIRE AT NYE’S MILL.

Between noon and 1 o’clockyesterday a (ire broke out at Air W. Eye's (laxmill on the river bank. There was no one in the mill at the time of the outbreak. The mill had not been working for the past two days. The outbreak started in the engine room and the (lames spread lo the rafters. A band of willing workers backed by the Fire Brigade with its chemical engine managed to save the mill from complete destruction. Mr Xye assesses his io.-s-at £l5O. Mr Xye hopes to effect repairs and have the mill working again to-mor-row.
