KEMP AND “PUSSYFOOT.”
TOWN HALL, WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AT 2.30. A New Zealand speaker in the person of Mr Kemp of Auckland accompanies Mr “Pussyfoot” Johnson on his visit to Foxton, and will also speak at the Town 'Hall tomorrow afternoon. Mr Kemp is known as an outstanding orator on the Prohibition question. Mr Johnson’s name is world-wide. His array of truthful information concerning the American prohibition position is altogether convincing. Seldom lias the Foxton public had an opportunity to hear men of such outstanding ability on the prohibition question. A specal treat in music is also promised. During the afternoon Mrs B. M. Kendall, of Auckland, gold medalist at the Auckland Exhibition will sing “The Slave Song” and “An Old Fashioned Town.” Admission is free blit a collection will he taken up on behalf of local expenses.
