Public, Works Department defeated Foxton at Foxton, on Saturday by 172 runs for nine wickets, against Foxtoifs total of 10.1. For the winners Burrows knocked up 49, Mason 29, and Pope 22. Ilirini batted well for Foxton knocking up 30; T. Morgan 23, and Nyc not out for 18. Reay for Foxton took three wickets and Newtli for the winners accounted for five wickets.
