We have received from the publishers, Messrs Gordon and Gotch (per Mr Heath) the following magazines :

A real life drama of the “reel” commences in the Premier Magazine for October 3. It is entitled “Cinema Life” and is written by Guy Thorne who has undoubtedly nohieved his greatest triumph in this breathlessly thrilling story of “movie” life. This brilliant novel will bo pubished in four parts and the opening chapters are ful of promise. In addition there is a tine story by Bill Adams, the new and already faxnous author of sea stories and there are also many contributions by prominent short story writers. The Premier is an all-fiction magazine and is exceedingly popular in this group of literature.

Weldon’s Bazaar of Children’s Fashions, November number, lias the most splendid easy-to-wear designs for the kiddies, and the gratis patterns enclosed include a girl’s coat in two styles, 8 to 10 years, a girl’s dress, 4 to 0 years, hoy’s tunic suit, 2 to 4 years, • and child’s sleeping suit, (i months to one year, with simple directions for cutting out. and making up.
