RIFLE SHOOTING.
(An Saturday the last shoot for Mr E. Robinson's trophies was held, at fit'll) yards. Although the day was line, there was a very changeable westerly breeze blowing, one of the worst experienced for some time. The flags were quite misleading, and scores were far below average. The results for the three shoots show that Rifleman Hartley has won the 2ft - trophy with two 47's at 200 nnd 300 yards, taking a handicap of 2 only. Three competitors— Riflemen .A. Barnard, H. TTamer, and C. Barnard —tied for second place, each getting two -17's and taking a handicap of 8. However, the total handicaps were 8. 11 and 11 respectively, so that Rilletaan A. Barnard has won the 1o- trophy on the lowest total handicap. Next Saturday, the lirst of a -c----„r shools for the Claris Rose Howl will be held, at 000 yards.
