"WHEN MEN DESIRE.”
This thrilling drama will be shown at the Town Hall to-morrow (Friday) night. Miss Theda Bara takes the leading role, and appears as a naturally shy and modest young woman, who is later forced to parade as a woman of infamy, through circumstances absolutely beyond her control. She does this only that she may regain her freedom from the evils and perils that surround her. This excellent feature is supported by Maurice Flynn in a story of railroad life, “Smiles are Trumps.” They certainly are — but at times in this story of excitement it is difficult to see how a man can smile while leaping from one express train to another. But he does it and still smiles. Usual prices. On Saturday Bessie Barriscale will appear in a tine emotional drama, “The Breaking Point.”
