SCHOOL AT POROUTAWHAO.
The question of the Poroutawhao School site was raised again at last week's meeting of the Wellington Board when the members who recently visited the district reported against the site owing to the proximity of the manure works and recommended the location on Mr Spoils’ property. The report was adopted by the Board, and it only remains now for a satisfactory arrangement to be come to regarding an exchange of sites to permit the building to proceed.
