The High Commissioner's cable, dated the 21st inst. reads: —“Hemp, manila market, dull and weaker: business reported ‘G’ grade. Ootn-ber-Deeember shipments down to £3O Ills.' Buyers present idea £3O on. New Zealand market continuequiet and easier. Fair grade in dock sold at £3O Ins; consumers taking no interest in forward shipments for which £3O Jos fair, £32 Ins high points now asked."
