BLASTING ACCIDENT.
Taumarauui, October 21
Two men, A. H. McLean, aged 47, single, and Ben Brothers, aged 22, single, were seriously injured while blasting rock on a cutting at Ongarue this, afternoon, owing to a premature explosion. Brothers is unconscious and McLean is suffering from shock and a fractured arm. They are now in Taumaranui Hospital.
