The Morning Rost’s Constant inoplo correspondent forecasts that the Turks will regard the Reace Conference not as following their defeat in the world war, Imt their own successful war of liberation, and will approach the conference with the intention of establishing Turkey as a fully independent nation on an e<[ind basis with the other nations, unhampered by capitulations. Other special restrict ions will probably accompany the demand, with sword brandishing as at Mttdauia. whence arises their desire that the conference should meet, on Keiualist territory.—A. and N.Z. cable.
