MOUTOA TENNIS CLUB.

A Tennis Club has been formed at Moutoa, where there is a very fine concrete court, which has just been asphalted. The court is in the school grounds and is a great acquisition to the school. The fol-. lowing officials have been elected: Messrs J. Ki Hornblow, AY. E. BarIter and J. Chrystall (patrons) president, Mr AY. 11. Smith; vice-pre-sidents, Mrs J. Aitken, Mr AY. Bowe; committee: Mrs AA. 11. Smith (treasurer), Mrs A. Thompson and Miss J. Bowe, and Messrs A. Thompson, F. Bowe, V. Jewell, J. D. Aitken (secretary). Players from the Foxton courts will be welcomed on the Moutoa courts. The opening day has not been yet fixed, but a social evening and dance is being held in the school on Friday night next, 20th inst., to raise funds to launch the new club, to which Foxton enthusiasts are heartily invited.
