WOOL MARKET.

The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 11th instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: — “Wool. —Sales opened yesterday with large attendance Home and Continental buyers. Competition brisk and practically all offering sold. Greasy merino poorly represented lmt may be quoted 5 per cent, dearer. Pino erosbred and medium cross bred greasy 10 per cent, coarse cross bred 5 per cent., dearer. Scoured and slipe unchanged.
