IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS
Advice has been received in Palmerston North that Messrs C. F. Millward and Company, Wanganui agent-; of, the Canterbury Steam Shipping Company, purpose, provided the bar and river are found to be navigable, to make a trial trip with the s.s. Storm on a run from Lyttelton to Fox tout '
The company is at once sendingits representatives to examine the river and bar and to confer with the harbour authorities. Mr Millward will personally visit Palmerston N. to-day, says the Standard.
