During the month of September the sum of £2,510 2s was received and has been placed to the credit of accounts as follows: —Water and Drainage Loan a/e £2,000, District Fund a/e £503 17s, Cemetery £0 ss. ' The ledger balances on the 30th September were as follows: —Im- • prest cash £lO, Gasworks £6l 3s Bd, Hospital and C.A. £3 2s 9d, Reserves £7l 2s lOd, Town Hall £1 0s lid. Interest £152 12s 3d, all at debit, a total of £299 2s sd. The accounts at credit were:— Gesneral £129 5s 7u, Contractors’ Deposits £356, Cemetery £95 3s sd, Library £BS 6s 7d, Council Chambers £1,235 8s sd, Sanitation £96 . 8s Id, Town Hall Pictures £72 6s Id, Water and Drainage £1,418 0s sd, a total of £3,487 18s 7d.
