ESTIMATES PASSED.
Wellington, Last Night. The House devoted to-day to completing its consideration of the estimates as follows: —The Agriculture Department vote, £253,312; Tourist Department, £71,792; Valuation Department, £42,353; Electoral Department, £84,548. These were passed unaltered. The Minister in charge of the Tourist Department mentioned that the rental paid by the Mount Cook Hermitage or. a live years lease is £2OO annually. The Government had been losing £2,000 a year on the building.
