It is announced that Mr Donald Grant (formerly of Palmerston North) will contest the Tauranga seat at the forthcoming election. He will stand as a supporter of the Liberal Party. Air Grant is prominent in local public 'affairs, being a member of the Tauranga Harbour Board and the representative of -the Maketu Riding on the County Council and the Hospital Board.
