THE VANGOUVER SERVICE.

NEW VESSEL BEING BUILT. LONDON, Sept,. 28. A notable advance in marine engineering is claimed to be embodied in a vessel which Fairiield's, of Glasgow, have secured a contract to build for the Vancouver service for the New Zealand Union S.S. Go. The vessel is fitted with Diesel engines, is 600 feet long, and will have a spoed of 18 knots.—A. and N.Z. cable.
