SPRING SHOW.
At. a Committee meeting of the Foxton Horticultural Association, held last night, the . balance-sheet ~f the recent Spring Show disclosed a slight debit balance. The Society's prize money was only 6s 6d below the entrance fees. Between £8 and £9 had been received in general account in subscriptions, also four donations; the bank credit balance was about £ls, so that the position is not serious, lhe total receipts were £25 8s 6d, and the expenditure £26 IDs did. Accounts amounting to £ls 14» 4id were passed for payment, also prize money totalling £l4 16s. It was decided to hold the next meeting on Wednesday, October 4th.
