THE EX-KAISER’S FLIGHT.
HINDENBURG’S RESPONSIBILITY. BERLIN, Sept. 12. The Monarchist [tress has published a letter from Hindenburg to the ex-Kaiser, in which the former, desiring to remove the bad impression created by the Kaiser's flight to Holland, takes upon himself a share of the responsibility of advising tinEmperor to take flight two days before tire armistice, “on the grounds of the serious danger of your- Majesty’s falling into the hands of the mutineers and being surrendered to internal or external enemies. It was necessary to spare the Fatherland such shame and disgrace at any cost.” Hindenburg added that he regarded the departure of the Kaiser I" Holland as only temporary, and concluded with an expression of unbounded fidelit,' to his “Most High, ’Most Powerful, Mom Gracious Kaiser, King and Lord. —A. and N.Z. cable.
