“MILITARY DISCIPLINE.”

RUMOUR REGARDING HOSPITAL ROUTINE. TWO NURSES’ RESIGNATIONS. “Pei’haps the military discipline that is being introduced is not going to be conducive to any young woman staying there,” declared Mr J. K. Hornblow at the Hospital Boai’d on Thursday when the l’esignations of the two nurses came to hand. He went on to say that there must be some cause for the continual resignations. He did not want to interfere with the hospital administration, but he thought that military discipline in the hospital could be overdone. He did not know that such was the case, but there was a suspicion. The chairman made Iris reply in committee —-a reply that was considered satisfactory by the Board.
