FOOTBALLERS BALL.

A SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. The 'Footballers Ball held in the Town Hall on Thursday night was one of the most successful and best attended social functions, held this year. There was a ‘very large attendance of dancer’s and the dress circle was well patronised by interested spectators. The decorations and catering were a tribute to those responsible for same and the excellent dance music supplied by Larkins orchestra left nothing to be desired. The prize for the best fancy dress worn by a lady (harem), Miss Andrews and the gents (Spanish troubador) Mr Lockwood. Mr E. Bryant carried out the duties of M.C. in a very ef- A* ficient manner. A list of fancy / dresses will appear in next issue.
