BIG STRIKE IN IRELAND.
POSTAL OFFICERS CEASE WORK. TELEGRAPH SYSTEM SUSPENDED. LONDON, Sept. 11. Telegraph communication between London and tlie Free State, is entirely suspended in consequence of the strike of all die postal workers, which was begun on Sunday night following the Government s withdrawal of the special cost of living bonus. —A. and N.Z. cable. LONDON, Sept. 11. The Irish postal employees have struck, after rejecting the Government's offer to spread reductions in wages over three months. In a manifesto tlio Government denies the. right of civil servants to strike, and says picketing will not, be. allowed, as in the case of industrial disputes. Ihe Government will use all its forces to prevent the intimidation of local officials. A. and N.Z. cable.
