UNMANAGEABLE STEAMER.
RAMS AND SINKS GUNBOAT. OTHER VESSELS DAMAGED. BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 1. The American steamer American Legion became unmanageable and rammed and sank the gunboat Azopardo. rammed and damaged the gunboat Pallia, two scout ships and the transports Pumpa and 1 atagonia. Four persons were injured on the Azopardo.—A. and N.Z. cable.
