COUNSELLING A STRIKE.
FINE IN NEW SOUTH WALES. HEAVY PENALTY ASKED FOIL SYDNEY, Aug. 91. Mr Bonte, editor of the newspaper Worker, was fined £lO, with costs £3O 10s, on a charge of having counselled a strike. Counsel for the Graziers’ Association, in pressing for a heavy penalty, said the strike had already cost the association £IOO,OOO. —Press Association.
