PRESBYTERIAN SUNDAY SCHOOL.

The annual concert in connection with the above school was held last night in the school hall, before an appreciative audience. The Rev. Trunk McDonald presided and in the course of his opening remarks referred to the importance of Sunday school work and asked for the hearty co-operation of the congregation in this, important adjunct of the church’s activities. Mr and Mrs Slade were responsible for the excellent programme submitted and (bo little ones acquitted themselves famously. The following contributed items: Miss Patterson, pianoforte solo; song, Patterson; recitation, Marjorie McMurray; dialogue,' girls; song, Isie Patterson; recitation, Ula Cunningham; chorus by the children; mouth organ and auto-harp item, Mr Tongs; pianoforte solo, Madge MeColl; recitation, Molly Beer; song, Mr laii Ross; song, Mr Horn-blow; duet Messrs A. Reid and lan Ross; pianoforte selection, Miss Stevenson; song, Mrs Slade. Accompaniments were played by Misses Patterson and Kathleen Hornblqw. At the conclusion votes of appreciation were paid to Mr and. Mrs Slade and to the ladies for the excellent supper provided.
