LANTERN LECTURE.
The Rev. W. .T. Durrad, of Melanesia, is spending a few days in this district and will preach at both the morning and evening services in All Saints’ Church to-morrow. On Monday niglit he will deliver a lecture in All Saints’ Schoolroom on the work of the N.Z. Board of Missions in Melanesia, and China. The lecture will be illustrated by lantern slides and should prove of great interest, to the people of Foxton.
On Tuesday evening opportunity will be given to the people of Oroua Downs to hear this lecture which will commence at 8 p.m.
