MOTOR-CAR FATALITY.
CRASH INTO RIVER. BRIDGE CROSSING MISTAKEN. GORE, Aug. 19. At two o’clock this morning a motor car crashed into the Waimea river, near Mandeville, mistaking the bridge crossing. Of the lour occupants Andrew McLennan, single, aged 33, a carpenter of Riversdale, was drowned. The others escaped with minor injuries. The body was recovered.
