WOOL CONVENTION.
TO BE HELD AT MELBOURNE. NEW ZEALAND INVITED. SYDNEY, Aug. 19. Mr Bernard Tripp, a New Zealand pastoralist, who is on a holiday in Australia, has received an invitation from Sir John Higgins to attend the wool convention at Melbourne on 29th August. The conference will discuss the procedure to be adopted regarding the allocation and disposal of the carry-over wool and the current clip of wool of the 1922-23 season; consider statistically the position of merino and crossbred wool; and the stabilisation of the wool market, particularly in regard to crossbreds.—Press Association.
