YELLOW LEAF DISEASE. A deputation consisting of Messrs A. Seifert and J. H. Stevens was introduced by Messrs J. A. Nash and E. Newman, M’s.P., to the Hon. W. Nosworthy, Minister of Agriculture, at Wellington yesterday, asking that the grant of £l5O made last year be increased to £SOO to carry on experiments in connection Avith yellow leaf in flax. It Avas pointed 'put that the grading fee now charged might be increased slightly and. the money paid to the association from this source. The Minister promised to give -the matter consideration at the earliest opportunity.
