The poll is being taken to-day on the Horowhenua Hydro-Electric Board’s loan proposal. The polling booth is situated at the Town Hall Supper room. Up to noon very few ratepayers had recorded their votes. There is practically no opposition to the proposal, but that, is no reason why ratepayers should not exercise their rights . Polling closes at 6 p.m.
