FOOTBALL FATALITY.
COLLEGE BOY SUCCUMBS. Wanganui, July 31. R, L. Williams, 16 years, died this morning from the effects of an injury sustained while playing in a Rugby match for the Collegiate School against Waverley at Waverley on Wednesday. The boy was seen to crumple up when in the act of tackling an oponent. Medical examination subsequently showed that his spine was broken. Deceased was a son of Mr Robert Williams, of Hastings.
