HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 22nd. inst., reads: — “Hemp, manila, in better demand and tone firmer. ‘H’ grade, JulySeptember shipments and AugustOctober sold at £33 10s, O’ £3O 10s, £3l. ‘G’ same position but now quoted at £34 10s. New Zealand mai'ket quiet and steady, high points, July-September shipments, sold at- £3l 10s, fair quoted at sellers £3O 10s, position, spot 5/- moi’e.”
