FOOTBALL.
The Horowhenua and Manawatu reps., both senior and junior, tried conclusions at Palmerston on Saturday. Horowhenua seniors were defeated by 32 points to 11 and the junioi’s by 8 to 3. In the junior game, Christie, of the local club, scored the only try for Horowhenua. About 5,000 people watched the games.
