ROYAL PICTURES.
The Saturday Evening Post supplied the story for “Tracked to Earth,” the Universal Special Attraction starring Frank Mayo which comes to the Royal on Wednesday. William Worthington directed the filming with Virginia Yalli, Harold Goodwill, Buck Conners, Duke Lee, Lon Poff, Jack Walters, Percy Challenger and Arthur Millett in the principal supporting characterisations. A.smooth talker but honest —that is the hero, of the drama. If he doesn't win thq admiration of men and women alike, it is not because of his “line" which is irreproachable in its finesse and polish. He goes into the lonely wastes of t lie sand hills to find and eapturg single-handed, a bandit gang. He traps them in the desert by stealing their horses. But he is seen doing it and the next thing lie knows-, he is the centre of a posse which is hunting for a convenient tree limb. He is convicted of being a horse thief, without any judge or jury. That sounds good, If the rest is as good it ought to be a knockout of a plot as far as holding the interest is concerned. Extra “The White Horseman.” Prices as usual.
