S.M. COURT.
The monthly sitting of the local S.M. Court was held yesterday before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M. CIVIL CASES. Judgment was given plaintiff by default jn the following civil eases: —D. W.‘ Robertson and Co. Ronald Shaw, £3 15s, costs £1 10s 6d; same v. Winiata, £2 9s lOd, costs £1 16s 6d; J. T. Follas (Mr Bergin) v. T. Murpliy, £9 12s costs £1 10s (id; Foxton Motor and Engineering Co. (Mr Bergin) v. G. G. Kelly £lO 3s 6d, costs £2 14s; M. Davidson (Mr Bergin) v. G. Papara, £2 16s lOd, costs £1 10s 6d; same v. Meta Kipa, £4 16s 2d, costs £1 18s 6d; same v. Pat Kauri junr. £3 19s lid, costs £1 18s 6d; same v. Jack Kauri, £4 12s 3d, costs £1 18s 6d; same v. Charles Lawson, £2 14s lOd, costs £1 13s 6d; P. J. Jack (Mr Bergin) v. H. B. CreSswell, £7 18s, costs £1 10s Gd; Thos. Henderson v. T. Hnzeldean, £2 4s, costs 8s; Cockburn and Yankcj v. A Albery order for possession of tenement granted and costs £2 3s. BREACHES OF THE BY-LAWS. For allowing stock to wander, William Walbutton, Frederick Watson, William Aldridge senr., L. de Kidder were each fined 5/- and 7/costs; M. E. Perreau (two charges) was fined 15/- and 14/- costs and Basil Walls 10/- and 7/- costs. For plying for hire with an unlicensed • ear, Ronald Bright was convicted and fined 20/- and costs 7/-.
Frederick Robinson for failing to register a dog was fined 5/- and 7/costs. •
