THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable dated the Bth inst., reads:—“Hemp, manila market, quiet and steady. There are no sellers below £34 for “G” gi'ade and £3O for “J,” JulySeptember shipments. New Zealand continues dull. Second-hand sellers quote high points £3l 10s; fair £3O 10s for July-September shipments but no business reported. Possible buyers at £3O below these figures.
