“Half a Chance,” which will be shown to-night has all the virility, punch, drama and -outdoor appeal of London, Bex Beach and Robeii Service. It’s a regular “he man” story of the “under dog”—a man who, sunken to the depths treats ids way through almost insiirniounlable obstacles with the sheer force of physical dominance, It is an adaptation of Frederick S. Isham’s novel. Scenically, photographically, technically, and artistically it is flawless.. Also Larry Semon in “The Bakery,” and the serial “Winners of the West.” “The Man Who,’ by Lloyd Osborne has been made into a motion picture by Arthur Zellner and will be presented at the R-oyal Theatre on Monday night. It is a Maxwell ■Karger production for Metro, starring Bert Lvtell in the role of Buddy Mills, the New York hank clerk who tried to become the Man Who Broke The Shoe Trust. Every Monday night, commencing on July 13th,-a “Songif-picture will he screened' as a# extra, during which the song (shown in the picture) will be sung.
