(To the Editor.)
Sir, —I do not-like to rush into the newspaper with complaints as I am a man of peace.' But I was terribly interrupted the other evening in a telephone conversation of business importance by the contact of two shrill female voices, which rattled me. I tried to get the aswers from my connection but a visit to the show, the preference to black instead of blue of some dress material and the discovery of some female investigation rattled on my ear until I had to give up. I think the three minute time-limit should be enforced or a clear line given for long-distance communications. I am, Yours, etc., SUBSCRIBER.
