The Kennedy has been working the port during the past few months without any mishap, but on entering on Sunday, with a cargo of benzine, she grounded on the bar and subsequently was washed on the north spit. The vessel was successfully hauled off yesterday and is now awaiting a favourable-tide to negiotiate the bar.
