PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
A congregational meeting of the Foxton Presbyterian Church was held on Thursday night to receive and consider tlie recommendation of it call to the Rev. F. McDonald, of Pneroa. There was a representative attendance and the Rev. Mr Miller, of Feilding, interim moderator, presided. .The C'omnittee’s recommendations were thoroughly discussed and with slight amendments approved. The cal! was signed by those in attendance and will be forwarded on completion. If the cull is accepted and sustained by Presbytery, the now minister will take up bis duties in about six weeks time. A committee of ladies was set up to inspect the manse and recommend any renovation. During the vacancy, the Rev. Alex. Doull, of Palmerston North, will fill [he vacancy.
