Dustin Farnum will appear tonight in the William Fox photoplay, “The Devil Within,” written by George Allen England and adapted for the screen by Arthur J. Zellner. Dustin Farnum’s role calls for exceptional forcefulness and lie is not lacking in that quality. As a liquor-laden sea captain who cares little for human life and less for Jin man feelings, lie brutalises his way to his own downfall. The years of sorrow that are his lot as a consequence soften his nature and in retirement he seeks redemption. The one tie that holds him to the world is his nephew. Hal; but tlie hoy turns out. to be a prototype of his unde’s former self. The deepest cut of all is delivered when Hal steals the secreted savings of the aged captain. Prices 9d and 1/3. Children as usual.

“The Girl in the Taxi,” a First: National Attraction, starring Mr and Mi's Carter de Haven, will be shown on Friday. The picture is an adaptation of the musical comedy stage success of the same name in which Mr de Haven scored a triumph. The story centres round the exploits of a young man whose father has dubbed him a mollycoddle. His efforts to untangle the embarrassing situation that confronts his father earns for him a temporary laurel wreath. The situation which caps the climax of the farce comedy is said to be most humourous.
