HOROWHENUA RUGBY UNION.
The Horowhenua Rugby Union met at Levin on Tuesday. Mr F. Williams, of Foxton, and Mr S. Parker, of Otakij* were appointed junior rep. selectors for the northern and southern districts respectively. It. was decided that any clubs wishing to enter teams in the Manama tu seven-a-side tournament be permitted to do so. The Foxton Club applied for the transfer «»f two players, S. McGregor and C. Green from junior to third grade.—G ra n t ed. fhe New Zealand Rugby Union wrote stating- that arrangements in connection with the North v. South match had been altered, and the match would now be played at Auckland on Saturday, July 1. Nomination of players close on June 1 instead of June 26 as previously announced. New Zealand representatives leave for Sydney on July 20, and were expected to return on August 21 or 28. When nominating players for the North v. South matc-h, unions were specially asked to indicate which of the men could leave for the N.S.W. tour should they be selected. It was decided to hand the letter to the rep. selectors.
