The quarterly meeting of the local Chamber of Commerce will be held in the Town Hall supperroom at 7.30 o’clock this evening. Owing- to Saturday being- a public holiday, the mart sale this week will he held on Friday afternoon, commencing at 1.30 o’clock. Entries of all kinds are invited. The second of the series of dances held under the auspices of the local Labour Party will be held in the Masonic Hall on. Friday evening next.
The annual meeting of the local Horticultural Society will be held in Ross and Co.’s rooms (upstairs), at 7.30 o’clock to-morrow (Wednesday) evening. Business: Election of officers, report and balance sheet, and general.
