To The Editor. Sir. —Would you enlighten your readers on four subjects embodied in the article “Politics” as published in your paper of Tuesday’s issue. “Protestism,” “Rev. Mr Elliot,” “Mr Holland,” and “Coal.” / (1) What really is protestantism and what are its principles (2) In what year, and of what nationality was its original founder? (3) What are the Articles of Faith professed by Mr Elliot? (4) How do you conclude that Mr Holland - should make a public profession of the Articles of his faith? (5) Do you favour the method used, by Mr Elliot when seeking to discover as to whether ' his mail was being held, or censored? (6) Why did you not, in the interests of subscribers, and electors generally, settle .with Mr Holland, at his meeting, your question of coal output for the period you * state? Sir, I am sincere.
