LITTLE 80-PEEP PANTOMIME
The popular Sydney artists whose performance of “Old Mother Hubbard” was so thoroughly enjoyed a iittle while back, are to re-appear in the Town Hall, Foxton, on Friday, June 2nd. The new production, “80-Peep,” is written by the same author as “Old Mother Hubhard-’ and is full of catchy music, graceful ballets, good clean comedy and excellent specialities. The scenery and costumes are on an elaborate scale, and nothing bps been left undone by the management in their efforts to make “80-Peep” the best. production in the repertoire. The main pari is taken by Miss Audrey Carlyle, the dainty principal girl, and Miss Lulla Fanning is again the dashing principal hoy, who falls in love with, and eventually marries the little shepherdess.!Somevery pretty solos and duets' have been allocated to these two artists, whose voices are well above the average of the usual principal boy and girl of pantomime; Miss. Ethel Osborn. of the wonderful lyric soprano voire, is again to be heard in a number of gems from opera, and as this is to be her last appearance here for at least a number of years, lovers of good music should not miss the opportunity of hearing probably the best voice that has visited these parts. The fun of the piece is entrusted to Mr George Harpur, Mr Fred. White, Mr Arthur Meredith and Miss Ruby Raymond, who all had prominent comedy parts in “Old Mother Hubbard.” The talking violinist is again to be heard in a new amusing violin act, while Arthur, and Ruby Bertram do some more of their acrobatic dancing. Brightness and dash are the keynotes of the pantomime, and there is not a dull mo-\ merit from the opening chorus to the final tableaux. A speciality has been made of the prices which have been fixed to suit all pockets. The box plan is at Heath’s where seats may be reserved without extra, charge.
