At the Murchison Police Court on Thursday morning, before Mr J. Bredbury, J.P., Thomas Henry Badu.st was charged that on 14th May, at Gowan Valley, there was found in his possession an illicit still, suited for the purpose of manufacturing whiskey. Inspector Matheson conducted the (■use. After Constable Robertson hadt given evidence, lie asked for a remand to 27th May. Lenart Englebert-Hill offered to be surety for Badurst. The Court adjourned the case till the 27th inst. Accused was granted bail of £SOO, and Hill’s bond was also fixed at £SOO.
